For the first three years of Clinging to God & Guns we spent most of our time debunking sermons and articles and speeches of Leftist Christians who try to push gun control using scripture. We don’t do that as much anymore because, quite frankly, it got boring. Every article since the shooting in Las Vegas shooting has been nothing but politics and almost no attempt to justify their argument using God’s word. And then, lo and behold, the Presbyterian Church USA ordains a woman to serve as the first "Minister of Gun Violence Prevention." We couldn't pass up taking a swing at this one.
O God, whose never-failing providence orders all things both in heaven and earth, we humbly implore You to put away from us all hurtful things and give to us those things that be profitable for us; through Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord. Amen.
